Tour in Northern Pantanal - 4 Days and 3 Nights

Full Itinerary
Day 1: Pousada Piuval
* Distance: 107 km (departure from Cuiabá at 08:00 AM).
* Arrival: Check-in at the lodge, with an introduction to the lodge’s logistics.
* Lunch: Served starting at 11:30.
* Afternoon Activity: Safari Photographic
* Time: 15:30, with return at sunset.
* Animals that may be spotted: capybaras, caimans, deer, rheas, hyacinth macaws, coatis, turtles, lizards, agoutis, monkeys, a variety of birds, and, with luck, jaguars.
* Night Activity: Night Safari
* Time: 18:00, lasting 1 to 1.5 hours.
* Nocturnal animals that may be spotted: jaguars, ocelots, pumas, armadillos, owls, and lobetes (a species of fox).
Day 2: Activities at Pousada Piuval and Transfer
* Morning:
* Dawn Safari: Search for giant anteaters and lesser anteaters.
* Breakfast: After returning from the safari.
* Horseback Ride: Duration of 1 to 1.5 hours.
* Animals that may be spotted: capybaras, caimans, monkeys, lizards, rheas, and a variety of birds.
* Afternoon:
* Departure from Pousada Piuval: 13:00.
* Destination: Pousada Pantanal Norte (formerly Neco Camp).
* Distance: 145 km via the Transpantaneira park road.
* Along the way, we will do a photographic safari along the Transpantaneira.
* Animals that may be spotted: capybaras, caimans, rheas, deer, peccaries, monkeys, coatis, anacondas, and, with luck, jaguars.
* Arrival at Pousada Pantanal Norte: Check-in and dinner.
Day 3: Boat Ride and Wildlife Observation
* Morning and Afternoon:
* Activity: Motorized boat ride (with sun protection and radio transmitter).
* Time: After breakfast, depart for a full day of exploration, returning at sunset.
* Goal: Increase the chances of spotting jaguars and other local wildlife species.
* Animals that may be spotted: jaguars, monkeys, caimans, capybaras, iguanas, anacondas, otters, and a variety of birds and other wildlife.
Day 4: Return
* Morning:
* Departure from the lodge: After breakfast at 07:00.
* Photographic Safari: Continue along the Transpantaneira towards Poconé, the capital of Northern Pantanal.
* Lunch: Pantaneira barbecue in Poconé.
* Return to Cuiabá: Arrival expected at 15:00, completing the tour.
